Tyler Smith spoke at the Second Annual Issues in Condemnation seminar, which focused on the land acquisition processes under eminent domain law in the state of Georgia. Mr. Smith spoke in a session entitled “Condemnations by Utilities and Local Governments: An Analysis of the Condemnation of Property by Utilities and Local Governments, and how that is Similar and Different from Transportation Acquisitions.”

The seminar took place in Atlanta over the course of two days and covered a wide range of topics, including business loss litigation, landlord-tenant rights, litigation of special properties, and evidentiary issues in eminent domain.
