Steve Gilliam recently served as a mentor in a Georgia Trial Skills Clinic at the University of Georgia School of Law. The training sessions were conducted over the course of four days and allowed less-experienced members of the bar to learn from some of the most well-respected attorneys in the State.
Participants conducted an immersive mock trial, in which they examined witnesses and completed all tasks associated with a real trial. Throughout the process, they gained invaluable feedback from peers and mentors to fine-tune their skills.
The course was co-sponsored by the General Practice and Trial Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
